The Saturday Spotlight

The Saturday Spotlight is a weekly feature created by myself in 2010 and hosted every Saturday here at TBR's. Primarily targeted to Indie and self-pub authors, but also available to debut authors wanting to promote their book. This feature includes a spotlight of an authors book, a guest post or interview, a picture of your book on my sidebar for one week and a giveaway of your book to a TBR reader.

Does the Saturday Spotlight cost anything?

No- this feature is free, the only thing it costs you is the giveaway. 

The Guest Post: What Can I write about? And what are the guidelines?

You may write about anything you want. My only rules/guidelines are refraining from graphic language, graphic sexual content, anything that discriminates against any group of peoples or religion or anything satanic in nature....common sense stuff really. 

Please refrain from rants, complaining or sensitive subjects that would get you slapped in real life. You are free to use videos, music, copyright friendly photos (which will require links) and/or promotional materials. Fun, informative or moving, as long as your post remains PG and follows these guidelines Im open to a variety of topics.

I hate doing guest posts, can I do an interview instead?

While I prefer guest posts, you can do an interview. I will send you some standard Q&A spotlight questions.

What do I have to giveaway?

Your book of course, physical or Ebooks work great! You can also do swag or promotional materials, bookmarks, posters.....really whatever you want, as long as you are promoting your novel. The rules are up to you and completely flexible.

**Please be Advised- Due to some issues in 2012, I need to place a disclaimer letting authors know, please make sure you have access and the funds available to support the giveaway you offer. When you fail to give your prize to the winner its tacky, unprofessional and leaves me in a bad situation.
